1, wheres best to get a stereo kit to put an aftermarket unit in? looked on ebay but they look a bit mickey mouse

also is it poss to lose your remap when taking off a battery?
i heard its happpened and im not keen

ahh also gotta put a kenwood unit in and wondered if the oe changer would work with it, cheers guys

no, no chance at all

changer works with an adaptor lead afaik

The first two are correct but the changer will not work without the oem head unit

You will have too get a kenwood changer

ahh i do have one but its bigger well longer, damn, she will only use the usb stick neways, may get shot of it and hope theres no hole left behind

ahh also do i need a seat specific lead?

im guessing i do as all i have in the shed are ford but there could be a second type of din i spose that oe stereos use

the sets seem to have an odd aerial conv bit too, weird
