Evening all,

There's two vertical-ish solid pipes just behind the lower end of the timing cover. One looks like it heads towards the heating matrix, and the other looks like it goes up, then heads back in towards the block.

I have a coolant leak which seems to be coming from them, and they look pretty badly corroded, so if anyone could help me out with a schematic or just straight part numbers, I'd be super grateful!

Had a closer look myself this morning with a UV torch that I usually use for electronic work, and the coolant is coming out from the top of the green (highlighted) hose on the right hand side of that diagram (Part No4). The one that connects to the flat end of the Auxilliary Heating Pump. As per usual, every time I try to go out and do something to it, it starts raining, and I don't have any covered space to work under, but I'm struggling to get the hose clamps off because they seem to have a stop on them, to stop anybody from being able to fully loosen them. Surely there's an easy way to remove the hose clamps?

I keep a large 8mtr x 4mtr tarp for this very reason.
If I NEED to work on the car in crap weather - the tarp pretty much covers the car so it stays dry underneath.

I generally use a pair of grips to close those clamps.

But if you want the correct tool it looks like this.

Appreciate the advice! Thank you!

Just need the part number now, but of course nobody is available at dealers/lcf until the dafy I'm due back at work 😭

Pop to B&Q - grab a roll of self amalgamating tape - do a temp repair.
I have used self amalgamating tape on a coolant hose when it went on a trip around Germany.
The tape held for the next 800 miles until I could get a new hose when home.
Never travel without the stuff now.

Been out today and given the metal pipe a good clean with some wire wool etc, to get the corrosion off, and the metal pipe definitely has a leak. Don't know if a rock has hit it or something at some point as it looks like an impact mark where it's leaking, so looks like I'll be commuting on my motorbike this week 😔

You sir, are a legend! Even just the exploded diagram is what I've been trying to find for days.

It's actually the metal pipe that comes from the top of that hose that I need. I'll probably replace that rubber hose too, but could you let me know what the details for part number 7 is on that diagram too please?

Massively appreciated!
