Superdon, how come your not impressed with the Cupra spec, but the lesser spec 1.4 FR is ok:confused::confused::confused: Anyway the Cupra as standard has everything you need for a hot hatch, with a lot more than some rivals. Mine came with mats, as all my SEATS have.

I guess I mean, for the extra money I would have hoped things like Kessy, adaptive cruise, seat sound, bucket seats, driver assist would have been included. I just didn't put that across very well.

Problem is with Leasing, by the time you've added those few options you mentioned to the 1.4T you'll be at similar monthlies as the standard Cupra. With leases you basically pay the full option costs over the term.

I'd much rather the standard Cupra! It does come with quite a lot more kit.

Most of the options are standard on the xcellence (one of the reasos i chose it)

I believe 1.4 eco tsi builds are now down to 18 weeks (from seat dealer)

10-12 weeks on all other vehicles

Quick query on the options on the FR....

If I spec Seat Sound, I get the spare wheel as well?

If I spec Driver Assist Pack 2, I get the Convenience Pack Plus and interior LED illumination?

Is that correct? I don't need to specifically ask the dealer to add the spare wheel etc.?

When you spec it the dealer will be forced to choose a option so either towbar or spare wheel for seat sound and the convenience and led for DA2

My local SEAT dealer emailed me this afternoon to say that the 1.8TSi 180PS petrol engine is back as an option (manual or DSG gearbox) for the facelifted SEAT Leon FR Technology.

I just checked the SEAT UK website configurator, and the 1.8TSi 180PS petrol engine option with manual or DSG gearbox is definitely included as a choice for the SC, 5-Door and ST Leon, but only for the FR Technology trim level.

Hi, another new member here!

I'm awaiting delivery of my Leon ST FR 1.4Eco Tsi DSG in mystery blue.

For reference I ordered on the 18th January and was given an estimated 16 week delivery time. I contacted the dealer yesterday and they told me my car is to be built in week 7 (week commencing 13th February), for delivery somewhere around the end of March. A more accurate delivery date will be given once the car is built.

That gives a 10 week lead time, assuming the dates don't slip, even if they do I wouldn't expect it to be anywhere near the 25 weeks being quoted else where.

Are you based in the UK? Ordered mine a month before you and I still haven't got a date. Maybe I will get one soon...

Read some conflicting stuff about the alarm on the FR but it seems to mostly say it's standard fit and I can't see it offered as an option. Can anyone confirm 100%? I am talking about UK spec.

I am mate yes, car is coming from Blackpool SEAT.

Have you contacted your dealer? I had to ring mine for the details.

Thanks. I'll get on to the leasing company. What spec are you going for? I've ordered the panoramic roof for mine and I know from history they sometimes build the sunroof models all at once.
