2017 retrofit ACC/Lane Assist

The new ones come with the sensor at the front and I've seen the features are deactivated in OBDEleven.

Does anyone know if more hardware is required for these features or can I just turn it on?

I believe you'll need the front radar for the front bottom grill and the front facing camera that sits at the top of the windscreen for both of those settings to work.

I'm looking at retro fitting to my 2016 Cupra 290 and I've began sourcing the part numbers and where to get the parts from. Front facing camera first and then the radar at a later date.

If you have the rain sensing camera and the front radar your all set to go.

On the xcellence trim both are included and thus these features can be enabled.

Ok. So I have rain sensing camera, I might try activating ACC and Lane assist and getting a mate to let me test it on them.

I will update on here if it works.

Can you activate the traffic sign recognition as well then? Just waiting delivery of my cupra 300 so I think it will come with the radar unit box on the front and the rain sensing camera

Rain sensing is not done by a camera, just an optical sensor.

Yeah, I've done further research and retrofitting this just isnt worth the hassle.

+ ACC stalk
Lane Assist - need camera unit behind your mirror

Same vehicle need also change ABS unit or add sensor on stearing wheel

You also need the new stalk though, don't you?

I'll take a picture of mine and if anyone can let me know if it's the same as theirs with ACC that would be great.
