Does anyone have any good quality pics of the above with the black calipers and copper badges, ive got one coming in march and i did nt realise this change of spec. I thought they were red calipers and chrome badges unitil the cupra logo takes over. Have searched the net but only poor quality pics ive found.

I'm in your boat mate.. I've ordered a mystery Blue 290 also and was worried about the copper badges but to be honest I genuinely really really like how they look on they pics. I've also seen the black calipers in the flesh and I think they go well with the car. Red would stand out like a sore thumb on that car.

Would have liked the cupra logo instead of copper S badges tbh. Its on Cupra Ateca , wonder if atecas badges fit the leon, if so I will buy them

That's because the cupra Ateca isn't the "Seat Ateca Cupra". Cupra have branched out as a stand alone brand and the Ateca is their first car. Hence the new badge and things. It also means this will be the last Seat Leon Cupra ever. Next it will be simply the "Cupra Leon" and "Cupra Ibiza" and so on.

Thats my point Craig , they have already branched with Cupra Ateca , so why colour the badges copper on ours when they could have just gone Cupra Leon with the 2019 change of spec, seems pointless going to the trouble of colouring the S badges and caliper colour change. Unless they over produced badges for the seat leon cupra r 310.

Ah sorry I misunderstood what you were meaning. I'm.with you now. To be honest the new Cupra logo looks like a transformers logo or something lol not my cuppa. I think if they actually done a badge on its own, rather than in a square plastic plate to just simply replace the Seat "S" badges then it would have looked better. Just seems a little half arsed job. Honestly though the copper S badges have grown so much on me and it's now in my opinion a nice way to stand out that you have a something special under the hood

Yep, they seem to have removed all the colour and chrome. I guess it would clash with the Copper badges.

Yes, as i look now all the new ones have a black flag, exactly what im after for! As im ordering the black letters for the boot i may be able to order this new flag also. For now ive removed the coloured ones from the front/back and it looks much better, guess the Seat guys found that out finally.

Just so that you are aware, the flag is a black background with dark brushed gun-mettle grey flag. More visible when in bright sunlight, than some of these pictures suggest.
