I went through 3 front pairs of tyres (and two back pairs) in my Cupra over 65k miles and Im not that heavy on the tyres. Seems reasonable wear to me.

2 front one's are on the legal limit, checked em myself, the rear one has 4mm left on it, but the tire weld I had done earlier this year is leaking, and they suggested it wasn't repairable ?
20k from a front set of tyres seems ok to me, especially on a remapped TD !

iv done 20500 miles (got remapped at 10k)
im on my 2nd front set of tyres... have 3mm left of them (1.6mm is legal limit!)
and my rears are the original tyres and they have 5mm left on them!
which reminds me... should i put my rears on the front in the hope that all 4 tyres will need replacing at the same time?!
or should i leave them how they are and replace my fronts when they need it and when my rears need changing i can put the newish fronts on the rears and put the new tyres on the front.
which idea sounds best?!

I think that when your fronts need changed put your current rears on the front and put the 2 new ones on the rear...
New tyres on the front and older tyres on the rear may induce some Oversteer.
i see what you are saying but im not worried about oversteer as the OE perrelis are utter crap on the rear and when i put my current parada spec 2s on the front (which are very good in the dry!) i experienced no oversteer, thus im not worried!
still not sure what to do...
swop my front and rear alloys/tyres around now... and therefore they should all need replacing at the same time
or
change my fronts when needed and then when the rears need changing put the newish fronts on the rears and the new tyres on the front.
im thinking maybe option one is the best at the mo?! but then again i have just thought... the pradas spec 2s are crap in the wet, so maybe its better to keep the p - zero's on the rear instead (as its winter!) ?!

Just booked my LCR in for its 20k service at JP Board in Bridgend. They are a Seat Specialist (ex. Seat dealer), follow the same service schedule & use genuine parts etc.
Used them before for parts, front brake pad change & 10k service. Excellent service, staff are friendly & knowledgeable.
They quoted £150 including an upgrade to fully synthetic oil.
I don't need a brake fluid change, Bill @ Badger5 did that for me not long ago, along with discs & pads - besides, the car's only 18 months old anyway.
They don't supply a courtesy car, but they're located in the centre of town so I just see it as 'free parking' while the missus drags me around the shops!

Getting my 30k done soon (at 24k though, lol), luckily it's nice and cheap.
£85 from a local VW Specialist, not sure how much it'd be from a skoda or seat dealer though. Might try the local Skoda dealer first.
