Hi all looking to buy a LCR in the next 3-4 months and was wondering is the 225 better than the 210? I have read on the differences on a thread on here but heard the Turbo is different on the 225? Looking at spending around £8,500 thanks for any replys Chris:D
P.S will be modding it as well

anyway to say which one should you go for. ie 210 or 225.
they are fundamentally the same, you should now know the differences, so really it all comes down to price.
if you can get a 210 for much less then why not, if the 225 isnt much more then get that, (as its newer)

Ull only get a DOG for that amount of money mate.. Save some more spend more. Get a nice one. :)

Just look out for the usual signs of neglect, then you'll get a bargain not a dog!

Service, no bumps, rips, tears, damage of any sort!
Mileage will prob be higher, but seen 20vt's with over 250k on the clock so wouldnt worry long as you look after it - replace the normal wear and service parts!

210 doesnt have girly wing mirrors, and thus looks better :)...

..and driving against a 225 ive noticed no difference!

- So its a call between a newer car with girly mirrors... or and older more manly one ;).. but for that money you'll be lucky to find anything in decent nick.. (or have they dropped in price recently?)

Your theory is flawed.....

Late 210LCR's had tear drop shaped mirrors too (late summer / autumn 2003 typically) the change of mirror shape away from the square Mk1V Golf style mirrors was not done on the model change to 225LCR.

You'd be surprised! There are a few out there for this sort of money that are worth buying, but they do tend to have higher miles.
