2nd oil change ;)

Well i carried out the second change on the mk1 on monday

you,ll be saddend to know i didnt wash the drive with the sump contesnts this time

all went pretty smoothly, even getting the filter off

and on...



mind you, oil was still black as the ace of!!!

I've never done this myself, I've heard getting the filter off can be a right PITA

due to seat / vw,s desire to be sadists, the oil filter is only accesable from underneath, and as its on an angle to fit, you cant drop it down, so you have to unscrew it, best using a chain wrench and then tip it on its side, and pour the oil into your drain pot, then you can twist it and drop it out,

than as per haynes, refittin is the reverse
