Any of you remapped LCR boys come up against one of these? If so how did you get on? Just wondering as one of my friends has one and I have not taken delivery of my LCR YET. Guess a standard LCR would get blow away? (Need a remap, need a remap!)

the 350z isnt that quick. looks the part, love the car!! - but not what youd expect. mate had one, i was gona chop the cupra in for one but noooo! a standard LCR will beat it!

+1
standard lcr should keep up, stage 2 lcr will fly past it.
my friend had a rx8 and 350z and he said the rx8 was much quicker. also the 350z is big money to tune.

Mmmm this is interesting as I had a blast with one in my standard LC, the driver was up for it and gunned it...... Yes it was quick but...

Even though there was a nismo sticker on the back Im sure the only mod was the sticker .lol

As I expected it to fly away but I kept up with it all the way, an approving nod was given by both parties when I pulled off to the slip road.

Maybe that 350z was knackered or something... Food for thought.

turbo vs non turbo, right?

torque lower down helps leon's keep up and zing off. especially when mapped.

not to quick of a motor, stage 1 should give it a run for its money imo

my lcr is standard and as we all do i had a little play with a 54 plate m3 other day and i had the better start from the lights , within my mirror it looked like he wasnt gaining to 60-70 and i let off but obviously wud have sooner or later got passed, look on his face was priceless

gosh, the dude in the m3 must be a **** driver.

m3's would crap all over our mk1 leons

yeah i know, loved the m3s dont think he was expecting me to try him, he was 3 up, young lads giving it the big one obviously a **** driver lol

Joeb

to be honest i dont think there that shifty, friends astra vxr 290 bhp **** all over 2 so far, not sure how heavy they are compared to our leons/vxrs etc

an astra vxr with 290 bhp must be running at least 320-330 torque? somewhere around that. so its more than capable of keeping with an m3

but a standard lcr should usually get murdered by an m3. especially off the lights as the m3 has longer shifts.

good on ya though, theres too many of these m3's on the road. sound **** IMO lol

I had a race with a 350z in an un mapped Cupra (180bhp) and it wasn't gaining on me, I had him off the lights and he stayed behind me! They are more powerful but are actually rather heavy!

I really would of thought the 350z would easily beat a standard LCR but i guess the 350 looks quicker than it is, unless you put money into it, like anything i suppose

Thanks for the replys. I still think a well driven big Z would be more than a match in a straight line for a standard LCR. With the balance, traction and grip the Z has it will be a struggle keeping up through the twisty stuff. I'll find out soon though looks like I'll be picking my car up at the weekend!
