Probably because the revs are too high for the best power output in 3rd.

Also was there an extra gear change in there as well?

There wouldn't be as much wheelspin if the ESP and traction control weren't turned off...

ESP cuts in on a damp road enough to be more of a hindrence than wheelspin though mate. 3rd can do 70 though :)

Yes a torque biasing differential definately helps, but doesnt help too much on the straights, but more coming out of the corners. :)

How you finding yours Dan? Is it ok to live with day to day?

Loving the note on the 3rd gear clip above :)

IIRC isn't it 4th to you use on a rolling road for power output as the final drive is roughly a 1 to 1 output ? Maybe this is why ?

Video clips taken on a private road hence the lack of space to go any faster. Wheelspin in 3rd is a nuisance. Time for a diff maybe? :)

Purpose of the clips was to see which gear would be faster for the 40-70mph overtaking pass. Second was binned due to wheelspin.

What other mods do you have fitted to this car then?
