I have a 2.0TDi Stylance, is it right that with the clutch depressed the engine will only rev to 3k?
TIA
TIA
its got to be in 1st gear then clutch pressed in
Trying to pulling away hard in 2nd gear? Are you really wanting to kill your clutch faster. you may get less wheelspin, but your clutch will be dead a lot quicker than you want.
Ah, i was in neutral so thats why.
Does it work in 2nd? Id have thought a full power launch in 1st would have the traction control going crazy, or if you switch it off, you would lose allot of rubber.
If it works in 2nd then that may be more controllable, id have thought i wouldnt stall if you were holding 3k revs. You probably wont beable to drop the clutch as that would probably stall it.

I was of the belief that the Launch Control function was only on the DSG FR's. Ive engaged it in my FR quite a few times, with varying results. It is an actual program on the DSG, opposed to just dumping the clutch as you would on a manual version
