My knuckles are still bleeding but I'm really pleased it's done the hardest part was finding room to stash all the wires at the back of the head unit. Just went to the shop watching top gear on DVD : D
What did you go for? Post some pictures when it's done......

Yeah I believe so was sat outside the docs earlier waiting for the Mrs and it stayed on the only thing that didn't work was the steering controls the engine needs to be running I think......

You didnt need to run any seperate power connection for the unit then? Just plugged in this adaptor and off you went?

Reason i'm asking is i purchased an adaptor for non steering wheel controls, but they dont come with a power connection. so you need to run your own switched live etc and its not ideal.

was thinking if this one works in the way you say it does, i could just get this in place of it and ignore the steering wheel control part.

4 HOURS?
you having a laugh?

i did mine in 45 mins , but did spend 2 hours trying to get the rca cables up the back of the dash to come out of the radio hole , feck me its tight in there.

.....once I'd routed and hidden the sat nav antenna and mic cables and then hid the iPod and cables it took about an hour.......it's really tight at the back of the head unit took some real patience getting wires out the way : O
