4x100 4 pot brembo set up?

Hi all i'm hailing in from edition38 after I was recommended to ask on your forums, since i'm a VW lad!

I'm currently putting a Vento together over the winter for show/daily use once it's finished, I want to keep 4x100 (since i've got some BBS LMs in that fitment) and run an OEM setup, so I was wondering if anyone here knew what was needed to convert to the 308mm 4 pot brembos on a mk3 golf platform and how much am I looking at paying for the front and back setup if they're compatible?

I assume i'll also need a bigger master cylinder?

EDIT: I'll be honest, I don't know where to put this so I just shoved it in the most popular forum...:headhurt:

what hubs on yours then? is your ball joint in the centre line of the hub or set forward and angled?

its got the same setup as the equivilant 4 stud SEAT, but longer wishbones basically. What we need to know is what brakes it has on it now, 239 or 256?

if same as mk2/3 ibiza (later golf2/corrado G60/16v) then 4x100 brembos will fit the hubs, (IF) the caliper carrier is bolt on and not cast into the hub

38mm caliper clearance would be required if thats the case

yup! if 239 you need to replace the hubs, if 256 then you can just bolt it all on. oh and if 239 you should reploace the master cylinder as well, 22mm from a MK3 GTI or if possible something bigger.
I'm not sure which ones are available that will fit a non-abs MK3 without faffing. All the larger MCs I know of use larger fittings so it a ball-ache, i guess there must be an audi one that works?

edit: assuming it doesn't have ABS, if it does then you can use a larger ABS MC. Assuming it doesnt already, which I dont know if it will
