i have coilovers on mine
i like the ride and the looks my m8 as had coilovers on is golf for over 4 years
never had a problem with them.
i think i might have kerbed that or slammed a pot hole for that to happen
yeh a few people thought that might of happened.my girlfriend is after some coilovers for her lupo gti but does not want to spend a fortune and fk's are the only thing in her price range.
i dont know weather she should get fks or not! as she does not have alot of mechanical sypothy(sp) when it comes to pot holes and curbs!!lol

i agree, must have some kind of incident for this to happen, i run fk highsport, no problems, a bit bumpy, thats it
