Received my stickers today. About to put them on and realised that they seem to be printed the wrong way round..

Have emailed the store.

Just looked again..

Are the stickers meant to be applied via the thin paper sheet or the thick card sheet? As I peel them away half is stuck to the card, and the other on the paper....

You would put it to the window with the sticker still stuck to the paper.

So you can bend the paper to peel it off.

If part is still stuck to the other bit, just give it a rub and should transfer to paper.

The way it works is, make it so its reads correctly when touching the car, so go to the car and just hold the sticker up against where you want it without peeling anything off.
Once it reads correctly to you peel the side touching the car away, press sticker on again to its reads correctly to you and press it down and rub it on. Then peel off the side facing you.

Should be on correctly if you've got an external sticker.

EDIT: Just seen your other thread. If you have internal then you sit in car and do pretty much same as above except as you're sitting in your car it should look back to front. So it should read teN.arpuCtaeS.

Peel off side that is touching glass, press it on well making sure there's no air bubbles, then peel side facing you off.

Then Bob's your uncle, Fanny's your aunt and ****'s your brother done.

The card side is the side the sticker has the glue on, The clear side of laminate/paper is the side that has no glue on.

I knew that, but as I peeled it off it stuck to the wrong side of the paper making it backwards.

I had to resort to a hair dryer!

All sorted.

Thanks!

Pictures of my SCN stickers! Still need to squeegee them as they have small bubbles!

I knew which way they needed to go on, but I couldn't get them to be applied correctly. The letters kept getting stuck to the wrong side of the paper. I had trouble transferring the letters to the other side so when I stick them on the window, they showed correctly.
I managed with patience and a hair dryer lol.

Apologies if i insulted your intelligence, just wanted it to be clear!

Look very good, i like the subtlety!

You're best off trying to get bubbles out sooner rather than later. And if they dont come out then put a tiny pin hole and get the hairdryer out and squeeze the air out the hole.

No insult made mate. Thankful for you taking the time to explain it!

Just removed most of the bubbles, A lot of things though, with time, the bubbles will eventually get out them selfs. I had a stick on VW tax holder in my old car and that worked the bubbles out its self.

I doo like them :).

Springs and alloys are on my next list when I have some spare cash! Any recommendations? Been looking at black rims. Not sure on 17 or 18 inch though.

Heres a few I've been eyeing up..

FR alloys are stunning, Bet they aint cheap though!

You do know you'd need adapters for the top 3 wheels and stretched tyres on them dont you? Or are they just to show the design you want?

I'd go for the ones in the third link, or the ones on the BMW

I'm wondering if some TSW Tribeca's would look good or not, anyone fancy 'shopping some onto a mk5 (all one colour, rather than the black and chrome they come as standard)

I didn't know that no! All I know is that the Ibizas are 5x100. What offset can I have and whats the max width?

Trying to look for FR alloys.. I can't seem to find any!

Not sure if you would, they are super nice though. Love the design of them.

I'm sure you'll see what they look like if you find someones FR RR Thread.

I dont think they actually made those wheels, i think they were just for the prototype but they are a very similar design.

Ibizas are 5x100 with a centre bore of 57.1 and need an offset of 38 i think. May be wrong about offset.

I think the maximum you can get away with without scrubbing is 215/45/17. But that will make your speedo read about 6% higher than actual.

The standard wheels size for ibizas with "17's is 205/40/17, They will not scrub and speedo will still be accurate
