Couldn't resist and had a quick play with the bulbs!

I checked that the boot one would accept the festoon I had and it did, so Ill be ordering another one of those.

The number plate bulb looked better with the LED i have, forgot to check the screen for errors though.

Ive come to a small annoyance though. The LED lights I got for the interior are a little too long, by 0.5mm.

You can see the top LED at a small dot and the cover does not sit flush. Do you recon the bottom of these could be clipped a little? the contact plates are quite long.

They look like this..

What a difference from those springs! Looks great.

The 5dr sits a lot higher than the 3drs, you made a good decision. Hows the ride?

Fairly hard. Not to bad, rather it be hard then bouncy tbh.

Got a little worried after I got home from a drive through. With my music off, coming down my road I could hear a knocking sound as I was rolling to drive. Kind of felt like I was going over small cracks in the road. The sound slowed and got faster as the car it's self did..

I will see if it occurs tommorow.

Will do my bulbs tommorow!, unless an electrician tels me not to, I will cut down the LED and hope it still works. If it don't then I shall use the other for the number plate light.

Just done the bulbs! Bit of a complication on 2 of them.

I can't get the right hand side dipped bulb to sit straight in the holder..

And the left hand side dipper beam seams to be off angle. I have moved the adjuster but I can't get it to visually line up the same as the right.

I also cut down the LED interior lights and they work perfect, So I'm happy about that! I may get another for the number plate bulb. Im currently using an ultra bulb.

Ill try and get pictures tonight!

I didn't know that no! All I know is that the Ibizas are 5x100. What offset can I have and whats the max width?

Trying to look for FR alloys.. I can't seem to find any!

I know lucifer on here is selling his

Wants 340 as are, and 425 refurbed. (no tyres. i would of had em if they came with tyres lol)
Lives is wales tho, so would either have to pick em up or get em delivered

Bit much for me at the moment, especially with out tyres, and I would have to trek it all the way to wales lol.

Did a bit of night driving to test out my new lights. They look good! Im worried if I have knocked them out of line though, I don't want to be blinding people!

On top of that Im still pondering about the passenger side dipped beam bulb. Ill have another look tomorrow but I couldn't for the life of me get it in strait. the top side of the bulb is resting on the "cap" rather than pointing in the middle of the "cap". Ill try and get pictures tommorow!, I failed to look at the original to see if it was straight or not...

I drove with my front fogs on for a short while and it wernt long before I had a guy pull back behind me and flash his lights at me. I turned them off and he drove passed and thanked me with his indicators.
I know they haven't moved because they are stationary without adjustment. I always see people driving with front fogs on, and I've never seen it be a problem.

On an upside though, Im in love with my new indicator bulbs! The dark copper like orange is to die for!

Heres a few pictures from last night. Tell me what you think of the visibility..

PS. I have just managed to get the bulb to sit correctly.. It was upside down.. (but I'm fairly sure the other one was sitting fine the same way. I switched them both round just to make sure. This may make a change in the current beam pattern.

Not the best picture but you get the idea.

I tried to look an compare with other drivers on the road. Mine seen to be slightly hitting trees on the right hand side of the road, and not be pushed out as far forward.

Update in terms of what's happening next!
Plates have arrived! And will be going on after I clean the car.
Alloys have been purchased. Getting the tyres removed, so I can sell them. Getting the alloys shot blasted. Then I will be trying my hand at refurbing them and finally a nice finish from my local powder coaters!
I will then be after some fresh rubber for them.

If I plan this right, they should be on the car by next month!
Old tyres are coming off tommorow, and will be sent to the shot blasters either tommorow or Saturday!

Taken my new wheels to J.P Polishing to get blasted, welded and powder coated! Got back and cleaned my car! Also put my new plates on!

Just a standard wash and dry. Nothing fancy!

Im thinking that I need a new camera!

Pics look sweeet!

How did you find bending the metal plate on the front?
I thought it was a pain in the ass! What did you use to stick them on?

Thanks Char! I used the sticky pads that dubmeister sell. they stuck for about a day and then I realised that it was only the middle one holding it on.

I had some 3M sticky tape (I had it from where I used to work, is the tape that they use to stick iphone glass etc). So I put a layer of that on top of the other sticky.

That lasted about a day, and it stuck iin certain places and not others. I was in a rush this morning so I pushed it back on, and its stuck on every since so far. I may invest in some heavy duty velcro.

OK so my tyres FINALLY came today. About 4 days late. Never ordering from there again!
So I am now super excited about this Saturday! New wheels shall be revealed!

Watch this space!

What do you think!?
Still need to get some centre caps. I got some but they didn't bloody fit!

First impressions don't like the wheels.. Several seconds after first impressions, they actually quite suit it somehow, but need some tire shine :D
