Alloys aren't my cup of tea, but my opinion doesn't matter its your car!

What spacers have you got on them? Looks like you've got spacers.

You'll have to have tyre shine on all the time now otherwise it looks terrible. Wheels improve it though.

Thanks . I havnt got any spacers on them. Pictures don't do it justice really.

Gonna have to get me some tyre stuff! Forgot about the side repeaters I got, will do them tommorow as well as spray my old center caps.

Wheels look really good mate. Better you than me to keep em looking good though! Had black wheels on my polo, they were a pita to keep clean.

Thanks mate! I gave the wheels a nice coat of wax, every thing seems to simply be wipe of! Its not keeping them clean im worried about. Its curbing them! lol

Im soo pissed off right now.

This happened when leaving a multi story car park. The lanes were so narrow I didn't realise how narrow they really were.

Now I'm thinking, theres no way to cover this up, and I'm going to need a new freekin tire.

Well I would change it. Can you see any of the bands in the sidewall?
How deep has it gone in?

I havnt had the chance to inspect it properly yet as its dark. Mega unhappy about this though!

Any tears or bumps are illegal and you really don't want to risk it, to then cause a blow out while you're driving. You'll get more damage from that to you and the car than that wheel has right now if it happens.

Does suck though i'll give you that! But get it changed asap.

i doubt ill be able to get the same tyre locally. Ill have to change to my 16" for the time being then.

Ive washed it a few times since then, and I've got some autoglym tyre dressing. Will hopefully be getting a load of poorboy stuff for christmas!

My next mod will be a twin exit custom exhaust. Powercoated black!

Just had a quick look with a torch. I recon the tyre should be ok. It's only shaves off a few mm of the side wall. They are performance tyres and are quite thick. The shave feels very smooth.

Regarding the wheel however, that's gonna have to get sorted in the new year. I may put my old 16" back on for the time being.
