5rpm restriction

Hi does any have issue with they car when it 5rpm in 3rd, that the rev wont budge any more?

Any suggestions, im out of ideas! Thanks all in advance

its leons cupra (180bhp) - it has forge dv 007p valve fitted so far

yes 5000 rpm, it get stuck and doesnt budge hardly

Can't say that's ever happened to me before....oddd. Does it only do it in the one gear?

it mainly hapens in 3rd gear, but there is some hestitaion in 2nd as the rev go past 5.

Just took it around the block, 2nd gear its jerking and 3rd gear its wont go past 4500 - 5000 rpm. it dies out

Sounds like a possible MAF problem.......as usual!

Have you got VAG-COM?

You need to check if any error codes have been logged, and also do a MAF reading test.

To do this, you must drive the car hard, through to the highest revs possible and log the air flow.
