6 Disc Changer Problems!

My 6 disc changer keeps coming up with the message 'NO DISC' even though the magazine is full. I have tried original discs and copied discs but to no avail! Can anyone shed some light on this problem? Thanks

I'm sure i've read that the STD changer is not that special.

I had trobles with mine, suffering similar symptoms. But I've changed my HU for an iPod ready one, and have since removed the changer, and put the extra storage box in it's place.

Don't think you're going to get any answers TBH, maybe a case of keeping a CD cleaning disc in the magazine, and running once a week or summit?!?

Mine does it too, either says "No Disc" or "Error".

Same as HAVOK316, it does it more in the colder weather. My mate had the same problem too in his LCR, so he ripped it out, binned it and replaced it.

I think its just a common fault that SEAT couldn't forsee.

i recall other threads saying that cartridges were changed as being the issue along with taking it out put it in select cd and all is ok
