Need to get a clutch to handle the 350-400HP we intend to have. Drivetrain is a 225 TT quattro BAM code with 6 speed box.

Spec stage 3 or 3+ seem popular but I cant get a sensible price in the UK
ECS stage 3 is an option @£850+VAT
Helix @ £ 830 +VAT
Sachs?VR6?
Any others worth considering?

When i was looking around for a new clutch i looked at Spec and some other American stuff but decided on getting a Helix setup since they give great backup if something goes wrong and replacement parts can be got hold of very quickly where as the American stuff if the clutch goes bang you have to wait two weeks or more for the parts to get shipped over.

£780 + VAT for a SMF/uprated pressure plate and cerametallic paddle disc rated at 475lb torque but Helix reckon that you should be able to add a good 20% extra torque to that figure.
