Help!!!!
I'm stuck in my worst nightmare, I'm reading a thread on a forum for enthusiasts of a sporty brand thats specifically named after the sporting arm of that brand, where people have bought quick cars and are then driving them as slowly as possible to get the best economy, why not get a Leon Ecomotive a Toyota Prius or maybe just .............a life!!!

I'm sure the bloke in the 118 was simply wishing you'd get out of his lane so he could get where he was going before losing the will to live.

Answer - don't read it then. Problem solved, your welcome.

It is interesting to a lot of people on here and probably helpful to know how far the car can go if you need it to.

Best I have managed is about 550, but the car is getting better all the time (just hit 28k miles).

Showing a total of (range + trip) 640 last night and this morning. MPG[2] is at 47.7mpg.

That's an awesome statisitic Andy! Best i have had is 535 and that was a journey to Alton towers and back. Not burying the right pedal once! sitting at about 70 and showing 43-44 mpg. On my way home to my parents at the weekend (40 mile trip) i get about 37.5-39 at about 80 mph with a very occasional kick down. Worst recorded was a short blast with my bro and i managed an average of ......19mpg his st was like 8 or something so not to bad lol

Driving normally, I get around 350-370 miles to a full tank of V-Power (with my pre-facelift FR TFSI DSG).
Hypermiling as much as possible, I've had just over 410 miles from a tank.

I'll be disappointed if I don't easily double that with my Ecomotive when I get it... my target with that car will be 900-950 miles per tank. :funk:

Thats not to bad really im just about to get rid of my BMW 325 which get me about 170 miles out of £66 worthor petrol cost me a fortune. If my leon FR tdi can double that Ill be a happy man!

just back from a week driving my 2006 1.6L MkII Leon around france. 600 miles from each tank. filled 3 times and trip counter reads 1875 miles!
all the more easier on the pocket whenever a full tank for my Leon was 62 Euro and not the usual £68!
