Hi all,

Can someone fill me in on what is meant to be done at the 60k service according to the service book - oil and filter obviously, I know about the cambelt (including the later released recommended guidlines) I think spark plugs too - but what about air filter? Anything else? Cheers!

(Oh and its a 02 Cupra 1.8T and I don't have the service book yet but just wanted to know in advance so don't get diddled!)

yes mate on a 60k you need to change...

oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter and cambelt

Fuel filter depending on when it was last done, normally has fuel at 50k i believe

:)

This may seem like an odd request, but does anyone know any good garages (maybe vw independent or seat) that would check another garage's service to make sure they have done everything they said they would. It's being done as part of the purchase of a car but I'm just not sure I can trust this guy now.

Live W London/Surrey way btw.
