where is the best place to get silicone hoses from? seems like Im going to be after at least 2 meters or 8mm and 2 meters of 4mm, does that does right to completely do the bay?


They only have 3mm on eBay im searching for silicon hoses is there a better term, think i tried vaccum hosing. :s hummm


P.S. cheaper the better I THINK?

hope 8mm and 4mm is the right length, if someone could confirm lengths that would be great as I dont want to order not enough then have to wait another 4 weeks & pay a 2nd lot of P&P

You can get it much cheaper than that and i woul recommend 3m of 8mm to do majority of a LCR bay

not in the colour im after. unless you want red, blue, yellow or black you aint got alot of choie if you dont wantr 3mm

Ronin, yes I ran out of the 8mm stuff. I would have had enough had I planned it slightly better but there you go. I'll need to order some other gubbins soon so will get another meter and finish that off.

Yep - I only bought 1m of the 8mm stuff and I did everything except two short hoses. 2m would do the lot and some spare I reckon.

I bought 3m of the 4mm stuff but I had a good bit left over, for all you'd be saving by only buying 2m of it just get the 3m and be done with it, it might prove handy to have some spare for future mods or earn you a favour with someone who needs a little bit.

That should cover it, yep. Remember, if you want to do the one that's the horse-shoe shape, goes from the driver's-side end of the intake mani around the charge pipe to the hard pipe leading to the bulkhead then you'll need a bit of 10mm for that, 1m will more than cover it.
