270 you can get at stage2 but your boost will start dropping 3750-4250 revs, stage 2+ is similar BHP level but with increased torque (prolongued boost) all the way to around 6000rpm

Stage 1 Revo 500ish
Stage 2 P-Flo induction - 200, TBE - 800 fitted for my custom not sure on others, revo upgrade - 50

That will see you 270bhp but I would recommend getting a WALK kit fitted the first time you remap. Plenty of info on the forums if you search for it.

Well ive been told thats ok. I just had to change the rods on mine. Depends on the torque figure as well.

Whiteline anti lift kit. It'll either be one of the best handling mods you ever do or a massive placebo. I fall in the former category.

Amongst other things, it helps keep the tyres planted to reduce wheelspin.

So can anyone confirm if its the downpipe or the backbox that is the restrictor of the 185bhp to the 200bhp? really want to know as i will change it

Unfortunately I can't confirm that for you, but I do know from looking at my car that the pipe does narrow where the centre section joins the back box, but you would need an FR to compare it with.

I have heard of 3 possibilities over the years; 1st is the pipe restriction to the back box, 2nd is a different map, and lastly, that there is no difference between the Sport and the FR, and Seat knowing the TFSI Sport was to be a stop-gap model, just said the Sport was 185bhp so that the soon to arrive FR seemed more of a step up.

I don't know if anyone's ever put a Sport on a RR to confirm or disprove that theory?

If your going to mod your car, then just completely replace the system...for a turbo back.

However back to the subject its very likely to be the outdated ecu on the sport which is causing the 185bhp because once its remapped its the same as to a FR leon? (same power output) refering to stage1 generic remapping (revo, apr, etc)

Im done with the whole all out moding mate, i want to replace whats ever restricting the flow, ill do a remap, and then its subtle visual mods, wedding n house to pay for now lol

The cat back is not restrictive on the tfsi sport. I used to have one and there is a slight narrowing just before the back box but this is the same on the FR and Cupra. I now have a Cupra still on the standard cat-back and its pushing 360 bhp.

The exhaust is the same on the tfsi-sport, FR and cupra. All except the tailpipes.
The downpipe is the biggest restriction. There are 2 cats, and one of them is about 2" from the turbo causing a big restiction.

An aftermarket downpipe and sports cat will free up a few horses and allow the turbo to spool up faster.

The air box is also quite restrictive and a decent intake will give about 10 bhp or so.

Two std downpipes. One with the restrictive pre-cat, another with the cat removed .. . . .

Cheers for that, i could easliy change the Pre-Cat from the turbo and i could get that restriction part cut out or buy a complete new back box as the twin pipes look shoddy need beefer ones.

Whos the best for buying pre-cats and back boxs for the seats then?
