Picked my LCR up last night and im having the weirdest problem which hopefully someone can help with.

Im not sure if i have to press unlock button more than once to unlock all the doors on the car? I know you do on my mates Corsa as its a safety feature, you press it once to unlock drivers door only and twice to unlock all doors.

But however many times I press the button it doesnt seem to want to unlock anything other than the drivers door. Is it a case of having to get in and hit the unlock button on the console on the door or am I just being stupid?

Thats what I thought! I think its bcoz the mrs is so eager to get in she pulls the door handle before I can hit the button twice so throws it out of sync!

Cheers

You can change it via VAG-COM if you don't like it. As standard, it's one press to unlock the drivers door and then another press to unlock everything else. That annoyed me, so it's now one press to unlock everything.

The more important thing is that you are only pressing lock once and not twice.

lol

its definatly press twice if your mrs is too quick drive off without her she needs to learn some restraint.

actually mine is the same as black turbo's it only unlocks all the doors when it can be arsed, no matter whether i press it twice or twenty times, pah !

sounds a bit odd jamie see if you can get vag com on it or check connections and stuff in fob i had that problem with old key the one thats not a flip key so brought flip key had no probs since

i have found with mine that it is a bit time sensitive, if you do the second press too quickly it doesnt see it as separate from the first and if you are too slow then it counts it as a first click again. its a bit like when you double click your mouse ;)
