my abf hunts slightly in the cold between 800-1100 rpm, then sometimes when driving the power seems to cut out briefly then ok. already changed the temp sensor but no luck. Got my snapon solus on it, intake pressure sensor no signal.

any ideas abf gurus?

so i changed the crank sensor to a new facet item. same problem occuring.
i have changed and checked everything suggested on every forum , bar the ecu. its been suggested its possbly switching between maps, start up etc.

could be down to the throttle stop adjustment, does it look liek it has been tampered with?

im getting the same problem chnage maf or map sensor and it stopped for a week now its back even worse is reving at idle or hunting in neutral

i have exact same problem with mine, when cold it'll rev itself and jump about like the spark is being cut, but its all fine once its warmed up, well aside from the lumpy idle
i've changed water temp sensor, air inlet temp sensor, distributor

all with no joy

i know this is silly but deffo check your vacum hose if you block the engine itake one it stops the idle and runs smove with finger on it take it off lumpy and idle so maybe your hose has perished seemed to help mine :)

I've had similar problems and mine was due to some bodged repair on the loom from the battery to the starter to the wiring loom... stripped it out and replaced all connectors that were corroded and its perfect again... :D

i swopped the ecu over as its the last thing i hadnt changed.
30 miles later the headgasket blew into the water gallery. crap
