ABF G60 conversion for 2L 16V

My friend has just bought this horrendously ugly beast but check out the engine - super charged!

He is going to replace it with a turbo as he has the cooling and managment sorted, but i have not seen anyone do this... is it any good?? cost and BHP?

Damn that's a confusing car. So its got a 2.0 engine, with what looks like an inlet manifold from a 1.8. Its got a G60 supercharger, and at the same time its got a BOV. Maybe i need to update my knowledge but I thought DV are only for turbo'd cars. Also refers to a quick shift as if its a whole new gearbox: "quickshift gearbox fitted ". Definitely a good project tho. Respray it, change the bumpers for standard ones and get some BBS split rims and you are off.

its a mongrel, i think he is oging to dump an 8v into it, sell it put the engine in a mk1 polo derby?

might he break the ABF lump, i could be able to buy the charger and a couple of other bits
