Hi all, I've just had a new rear wheel hub/bearing fitted to my exeo 170 with a Nordic part (NHB0246) which was checked against my reg number however having fitted which was simple enough the abs kicked in straight away. The light is on along with the TPMS and the traction control light all of which were fine before the hub was replaced.

I have contacted the supplier and await there reply.

Has this happened to anybody else?

Thanks in advance.

I had this when I fitted a new battery I told me in the handbook to take the car round the block and the lamps should go out took it for a rough 1 mile journey and all the light went off

Thanks for your reply, I've just had the new hub taken off and the pick up ring/abs ring has cracked. I'll be getting onto the supplier today.

How were the bearings fitted, its easy to crack cast iron if the outers are not pushed in square.

I changed the hub so the bearing was pre installed in the hub. The new hub was simply slipped on to the axle and slowly tightened with the hub but to the correct torque. No idea how it cracked, it was dark when fitted so it potentially could have had a crack prior to installation but I hadn't noticed it. Not sure how it would crack when fitted and driving but it's certainly cracked!
