Hey guys, got an abs light on my dash this morning so took off the front 2 wheels to have a look at the sensors or the connector (see picture below). Passenger side wire is torn through the wire causing my abs light to come on and it kicks in when I brake at slow speeds sometimes.

What most likely happened was I fitted coilovers last week and the tire was rubbing the coilover, didn't fit the wire into the holder correctly it came loose and got caught between the tire and coilover. Any idea how to go about repairing this?

Easiest thing will be to snip out the damaged area and solder in some new wire to retain the length of it, or get a connector from a breaker with decent length of wire still attached and do the same (make sure correct side of connector and which way round wires are as some connectors have different coloured wires), and cable tie it to the strut to keep away from wheel, worth cable tieing on other side also to ensure doesn't happen again. If you have conduit to protect the wore would be good otherwise just tape it well and tight, heatshrink would be recommended to get the soldered areas water tight. Hope this helps
