just noticed on my ibiza that theres no abs light on the dials. was abs standard on the ibiza or not. my car a 02 ibiza 1.2s 5dr

I don't believe it was standard back in 02, i've got the 02 1.2s 3dr and i have ABS, but i think the original owner got that as the add on. Would need someone to confirm this though.

True... I have a large black box that says "abs" on it, just below my ECU.

something like this under the bonnet with a crap load of green pipes coming out of it ?
is about the size of 4 coke cans roughlyif it helps and usually above the gearbox

My 02 1.2 ibiza didn't have ABS, I think in the book it said it was an optional extra.

I have a 53 plate, 2004, Ibiza 1.2.. I have ABS but again, I am unsure if this was an added extra when new.

Best thing to do would be to lift the bonnet and look top right beside ECU

was doing some research and it seems that it was a £300 extra so dont think mines got it but am gonna have a look for that box thing under the bonnet in the mornin to double check. thanks for the help anyway
