Hi,

Does anyone know if this may be possible?

My car has neither USB or AUX input and I wondered if this..

or something like this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/in-car-USB-SD...VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247

Could be used instead - the pins look like they are all available on the quadlock conector on the back of the headunit.

My only concern is that my headunit is the MP3 unit and doesn't seem to have a button to change to cd changer control as it seems I would need to be able to select.

Would scrolling through the inputs on the wheel controls get me CD Changer Control if one of these devices was plugged in?

Not sure If I have the correct forum but as its MK2 Leon related hope it is - if not could someone pelase move it...

Thanks:confused:

If you've got the MP3 version of the head unit, you should be able to enable/disable the AUX input via the PROG button and then the AUX option, so that once you've selected the CD source pressing a second time should change to the aux input.

My guess would be that the head unit just hasn't got the wiring for the aux or USB option, but it could be retro fitted.

If the Connects2 version of the above is anything to go by (and the photo in that link looks identcal), then don't waste your money. The one I bought sounded dreadful - like a cheap, distorting transistor radio. I'm not kidding. Needless to say it got returned.

Haven't tried the Dension but I believe that Dension are the manufacturers of the factory fitted USB and iPod connectors. For this reason this would be my choice out of the two.

Hope that helps.

The Dension is my preferred choice also, however I can't seem to enable the AUX mode on my headunit... is this something I may be able to do with VAGCOM? I know the radio can be accessed from VAGCOM but haven't looked more closely...
