Adjusting coilovers

I've had FK Silverline coilovers on my car for over a year now. I covered the threads in anti-seizing grease before these were fitted. I adjusted them once before but now I want to adjust them again as I was finding the ride a little harsh. I'm (hoping) if I bring them up a little that the ride may improve.

A couple of weeks ago I took the c-spanners and set to adjust them. However after much (grunting, and various words uttered) I cannot get them to budge [:@] .

I'm wondering if anyone on here can advise me on what I should do to get these things budged!?!?

I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Thanks in anticipation

Did you notice any difference in the ride quality when you raised them Sisson?

I'm like yourself, toying with the idea of taking them off altogether. Over bumpy roads it seems to bottom out a lot and is very crashy.

The car is by no means slammed to the floor (especially at the front), but does anyone with any experience of coillies think this might help?

Thanks again

Mine will be coming off soon, and back to standard...

Although after raising the front a touch it did help [ or maybe my mind was telling me it had]?
