Update:

Not amused at all...

Firstly they have sent EXACTLY the same shock absorber... but even worse they have sent me ONE replacement unit! [:@][:@][:@]

Had enough now ... I'll sort it out myself as can no longer be arsed dealing with these amateurs any longer.

That's a joke Scott....What are these people all about !!!

I have taken delivery of the Bilsteins & the Vogtland springs, should be fitted Thursday along with my new Pagid front discs & pads......

I'll keep you updated on progress once fitted.

Tell me about it ... it has now been two months ... good old Amazon have refunded my money and yet I've not sent anything back yet...

I'm done giving them chances and have told them so. If they want all the kit back they can pay the labour bill to remove it as I'm not doing it again FFS [:@] ... otherwise it stays on the car until I can purchase new dampers.

I'm also finding improved road handling has a major disadvantage in the Leon ... I can't stay in my seat under hard cornering!!! :D

At least you have a refund Scott,i know it doesn't help much due to labour costs, but when you get new shocks,at least you'll have the springs for nothing,as i can't see Vogtland wanting them back, probably too much hassle.
Get the Bilsteins and be done with it LOL:)

Have they refunded you for the whole kit ?

Indeed... I will sort out new high quality shocks :)

UPDATE...SCOTT..
Bilsteins & Vogtlands on,first impressions, not as low at the front as i thought, back fine(this will just be new top mounts & springs needing to settle a bit).
Unfortunately as i had new Pagid front discs fitted today can't REALLY try out the suspension, till brakes bed in a bit,but sure as hell feels a lot firmer, more solid and absolutely no front end lift on an enthusistic take off,so power going down a lot easier :D.
I'll keep the updates coming for you and anyone else interested in an inexpensive quality set-up,at £269 + top mounts and bearings,i think i have it well sorted.;)

Excellent... told you the springs were good ... :)

Mines all bedded in nicely and with the front shocks swapped out the kit is excellent...

Is that what your going for? its defo on my to do list

Yep... The OE Sachs shocks on the LC are very good units although they are pricey to buy new...

Billy B4's will be good and can be had for about £50 each...

I'm happy with how the car handles tbh as it sits... Although know the front dampers are a little tired hence why will replace straight away.

Next though really is too sort the alignment out after as would like to reduce camber some how... Also space the wheels out a bit.
