Need a new headlamp bulb for the Leon Cupra.

Just wondering instead of just buying normal crappy halfords ones, is there another that i can look at getting, as in maybe a bit brighter light?

Im not taking mega expense here though.

Thanks guys

Thank you mate.

Any reccomendations on specific ones, that people maybe use and have found better?

Blue vision are quite popular, but it depends on what look your after. They look ok and give a good amount of light off, but they don't compare to real HID kits.

always used osram silverstars lee
worth a shout
never let me down and are brighter than standard

i bought Philips Blue Vision from the powerbulbs site as suggested.

Next day delivery for free, great web site.

The bulbs are a deffinate improvement from standard but don't look that blue from outside which i quite like, much brighter though.

Good thing about that site is you get a free pair of sidelight bulbs with the blue vision.

I also bought the blue vision fogs as they look to yellow when you've fitted the blue vision dipped and side lights

check the bulb thread on leon mk2 section philips diamond vision look like HIDs.Depends on your budget I guess they are quite pricey and some would say put the money towards some HIDs but if you don't want to spend the cost of a set of HIDs they look good..

I have tried to look for the Diamond Vision and can find H4s but not H1s (really want them for my mains).

I do have Silverstars in the main beam but as you can see from this pic they still look really dull in comparison!

I am extremely pleased with the silverstars (brought the same for my dads saab 9-5 after he saw mine) and gave great results.

Would be interested in Diamond Vision if I could get them
