Hi SCN,

I'm looking into getting some coilovers and need a little advice on choosing the correct set/value for money etc etc.

I've been looking into these 2...

Firstly will these fit my 'x' reg 2000 seat ibiza cupra mk3?

I'm looking for the look more than performance aspect. I'm currently running on 45mm Weitec springs but want the rear of the car to be lower i;e the rear wheel sitting up into the arch as at the moment it sits just about flush.

Can anyone reccomend me some coilovers which are a reasonable price and will be low enough.

I'm looking at them rated up tp 65mm or more...

Thanks

I can't get the 1st link to work, but the second set is for Ibiza 6L. Ours are 6K so they won't fit.

I've got THESE, quite a firm ride, but still comfortable. They're rated to 65mm as well.

Thanks mate. Are you running it on 65mm? Would you be able to put up a pic of your car so I can judge thanks

I have no idea how low mine is as I got the garage who fitted them to set it up, apparently it can go a lot lower though.

Perfect that what mine is sitting like at the moment but if your saying it can go lower then i think for the price them are the ones to go for.

yeah i have to agree with ndbrgr, save the little bit extra cash and get the hicon gt coil overs.
im probably lowered about 60mm and only around half way down the thread so will go loads lower if needed though i dont think it could go much lower without problems ;)

Thanks cupra-gaz your car is mint may i add and yeh I think them are the ones im going to go for as i do want my back slightly lower than yours but not too much. Plus there a good make aswell and betetr than supersport.

how much did you pay for them gaz if you dont mind me asking

im also looking at getting new suspension, the options are either the weitec Gts or the KW basic varient 1
for the weitec GT owners whats the handeling like ?? and how do they compare to the KW basic vareint 1 ?

i payed just over £400 for my weitec hicons though i had a discount from demon tweeks which seamed great at the time, after waiting 6 weeks for em to arrive they turned out to be for a mk2 which doent fit. so after another 6 weeks my coiles finally arrived :D.
great ride, nice and low though their not stiff and crashy so still good over the lumps and bumps we gotta put up with these days :cartman:
