hi guys was looking for a bit of advice i have a 130 fr ibiza and would lyk a nice turbo noise when changing gear i was looking at dump valves but dont really like the noise from them also there 400 pounds for a descent one would love a chatter when changing or taking my foot off the accelerator any ides


Also green panel filters on the diesels what kind of diffrence in power will i get after fitment?.

And has any1 removed the plastic door mouldings from there ibiza yet i am told there stuck on but was just wondering whats involved as i would like to take mine off

Diesels dont use dump valves (correct me if im wrong) they use waste gates.

you can get dv for dervs but they run totally different to petrols and sound ****.

changing your exhaust may give you some woosh

pannel filters are said to be of use after a remap...i like mine although i doubt there is any real bhp gain

i have geen panel filter doesnt make much differnce but get the PD160 bigger air intake as well and along with a better echaust and it will sound better im sure and go better. Do you mean the door cards off? Well easy theres a guide in the FAQ bit on how to remove them a few screws and clips is all iv done it several times.

Diesels dont use dump valves as there is no throttle. You can get a fake one which just makes a woosh sound when you lift off. Pointless really as they dont affect performance at all, and since its pretty easy to hear a diesel, everyone would know it was a fake dump valve sound.

Pretty much all turbos (including the derv and petrol Ibiza ones) have wastegates otherwise they would overboost and destroy themselves.
