After Market Radio - Any special connectors required?

Hi,

I would like to upgrade the standard Alana radio system, in my 2006 facelift tdi, to a Sony head unit.

Any special interface connectors required .. E.g ISO, speakers, antenna, wiring ?

Also you might will need a iso harnness adaptor I think i used one on my ibiza. I remember having to swap the yellow and red wires over so red went to yellow and yellow to red to keep the radio memory when ignition is off so I must have used one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PC2-69-4-...cles_Terminals_Cabling_ET&hash=item2a149ca035

You can also fit a double din radio in if you want to and will need an adaptor for that but a single din should fit straight in.
