Hi There,

Recently my aircon stopped working, OBD is reporting that I have high resistance on the pressure sensor.
I'm looking to check/replace the sensor but I have no idea where to find it.
Do any of you guys know?
If you can post an engine bay pic with an arrow pointing at it would be great.

Cheers!

Thanks for the heads up, had a poke around and the sensor looks like its tucked away under the coolant header

Look at the wiring under the gearbox, there are two plugs, one red/brown and the other black. The wires snap due to engine movement. One plug is for the alternator the other for aircon compressor and pressure switch.

Ah, so that is what the other connector is for, I've never had had a TDI so never had issues with these connectors! (petrol engines don't jump around!)

To the OP, is your car a TDI or petrol?

Yeah mine's a TDI. I'll have a peek under the gearbox at some point, luckily the weather isn't hot or wet at the moment so I haven't had much need for the aircon
