First off sorry for all the question lately but I searched and could not find any answer to this

Can you turn the air con off and still use the blowers the way you can on any normal car?
Ive always had a button that turn the air con off and then the car gets heat via the engine I presume (not a mechanic :) )

When I switch the air con off I can adjust the blowers etc!

I absolutely love this car but I feel it could have done with some soft air con buttons somewhere, maybe under the panel where them daft sliders are

Anyway I hope this makes sense

Thanks in advance

I have my blowers on with no air con, if you select vent in the menu, simply press the A/C icon and it should grey out. Mine even switches on the A/C when demisting and remembers to switch the A/C off when I switch back.

Thanks again mate, had a chance to check this today

I was turning of the whole air com system and only noted the AC soft switch on the panel

Feel such an idiot

At least it was an easy fix! I'm sure you'll find things that I can't, there seems to be many ways to do many things on the Cupra ?

Cheers for this, I’ve been struggling to understand it too. Great help

I came very close to getting my PPL a few years ago but went through a divorce and couldn’t afford to keep flying back then. I have 65 logged hours though so will just have to do all the exams again etc.. all I had left to do was 2 exams and the flight test. I used to fly from Headcorn in Kent mainly flying Robin DR400’s but have hours logged in Cessna 150/152’s & 172’s, Piper Warrior & Seneca, Cirrus SR22G3, Grumman AA5B Tiger but have also flown a Yak 18T, Jodel tail dragger, Britain Islander and a Cap 10B. I used to fly as many different planes as possible in different locations if I was travelling with work. I must get back into it before I’m to old ?

I've been missing my annual jaunt down to Fairford for RIAT over the past couple of years thanks to covid. Was the only chance I had to have a proper long drive and am very much looking forward to doing it in the Formentor when it returns next year.
