Hi everyone,

I see a lot of people are using the green coton air filters on the diesels, i was just wondering wether that was the panel type or cone type and what advantages there were from using them. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

most people go for the 160PD green coton panel filter. this collects alot more air than the standard one. do a search and you'll find a massive thread giving u plenty on info.

I think the 150 air box is plentyful for a remap (I have no data to back this up lol) - I have a panel filter on my stock 150 air box, seems to be fine and I shouldnt get heat soak in the hot months.

it will be mostly the panel type, the standard airbox for a tdi does a good enough job. Advantages are a slightly improved turbo spool up time.

If you have a mk4 ibiza 130 or 100 then get a Cupra PD160 intake along with a green panel to help it.

If you have a leon then you just need the panel filter.
