Air Filters

Right people, just a quick one can people just shout out a few names for induction kits/air filters really want a new one as i have a powertec one that came on the car is going rusty really am leaning towards the blue cone filter they sell at jabba but seems sooo expensive anyone know where else to get the cone or one on a simular level all ideas will be accepted with open arms thank. peter

you may want a 45'silicon bend from forge also to take it closer to the wing

I have the Jetex mentioned above. Very good ari filter for the price. You get a great induction noise, and more importantly, its MAF friendly so it wont kill it like others

Largely irrelevant for a turbo car where the air goes through the intercooler first. Sure, the cooler the air the better but I don't see it making any odds with a heat shield in the bay - just make sure it's over by the wing where the standard airbox goes. Most important is how much air you can get into the engine, and the Jetex filters (which Jabba use) are known to flow well and be MAF friendly. The FC-0003 is the most popular choice as per the link above

Iv got the BMC CDA on mine, its quite a good filter, only downside is the cost.
The enclosed filter helps keep heatsoak to a minimum as it drags all the air only from the cold air feed.

Dynatwist there old skool these days mat. Jetex is where its at now, never had one on my cupra as i ran the Blitz but got one on the Skyline now and love it, granted mines bigger than you boys would use tho
