air intake

hello. iv got a bmc cda induction kit for my ibiza FS and iv had it on for about 2 months now. I really like the sound it gives off and when i put it on i could tell it had given the car a little more pull but a could'nt get the cold air feed from the filter to the front of the car. The closest a could get is behind the fog light. So a was thnking about getting a little vent in me bonnet to get the most out of the induction kit but a don't no if it will look good or not?! or if anyone knows of a way to get the cold air feed to the front that would be a great help

hello mate where did you get the kit from and how much was it?? Did you connect the breather pipe up easily? Got and pics also... sorry to take your thread

Its ok mate, sorry i aint got any pictures mate but heres where a got it from www.motorsportworld.co.uk On the left of the page theres a part number search if you put this in CDA70-130-209 it will bring it up and theres a picture of it in a engine

ok mate did you have any probs with the breather hose fitting?

i wouldn't recommend putting a vent in the bonnet ...i doubt it would look any good imo.....but have you tried getting longer pipe?

or yer sorry. No not really, a just bought a universal air breather filter off ebay. i had to cut abit away from the inlet to fit a pipe into the filter but only took 2mins, and then just put a cable tie round it to stop it from moving.

yes mate a did think about that but a don't no how am going to get it to the front. It would be perfect if a did'nt have fog lights but am not taking them out lol
