Airbag light is mysteriously on.

Hey guys. I recently removed my centre console for a respray, which meant removing the "Airbag Off" light from it. Now that I've wired it all back up, whenever I drive around I have the "airbag problem" light on. Can anyone help me with this? Do I simply need to reset it?

Yep becuase it has been disconnected it will have logged a fault, needs to be reset with diag equipment.

simply reset it? - probably. assuming its all been wired up correctly.

Hm. I tried that, but I couldn't flash it with my little handheld device. I'll wait 'till I get back to Cardiff, maybe I can meet up with a proper Vag-Com owner.

Possibly to do with the seats?

Nah. Originals never had side airbags, and I didn't plug in the new ones.
