Airbox Window

The best thing about the apiro forza airbox is that its clear and you can see the filter medium. When its dirty, you can see it needs to come out and have a clean.

Why don't more people make clear airboxes?
What would an OE ones look like with a perspex top? Or window?

change it once a year or whatever, i think making something see-through would be abit pointless and cost a fair bit, im guessing lovely black plastic is cheap/light/easy to mould ..

ive seen see through dizzy caps on ebay but its abit of a maxpower gimic imho

Got a K&N one in mine so it gets cleaned, not changed.

See you point about cost, although i have some perspex sheet lying around.

had a green cotton in mine for around 6 months, 5k mile ill clean it early spring time unless i end up going to santa pod or something then ill clean it then. took alook at it last weekend and its still suprisingly clean

Dont need any fancy perspex.

rather then put the effort in to making a clear perspex one i would say it would be less hassle just to remember to check it every 2-3k miles.
