I have read some previous threads which contain some info but not the answer i am looking for.

Has anyone been able to switch off the stupid speed sensitive feature the alana mp3 radio's have?

Really really annoying feature.

(will browse the manual after work cause i cant take it anymore)

Its a dangerous feature really, you accelerate onto the motorway with you music loud but not distorting before you have time to change lane your concentrating on turning it down because the speakers or about to blow (distorting)………forgetting the fact that your entering a busy motorway…..its *&%$ and dangerous.

So who ever figures it out first, should post a method statement to help other members out.

It says in the manual I think

Push and hold prog and the step through the menu... I think its the SCV option you want...

Just switched the SCV off so will see if it works on the way home

Yep, its SCV you need to turn off

Press and hold PROG to enter menu

Scroll across to SCV

Tap PROG

Scroll Across to OFF

Tap PROG to confirm

Press and hold PROG to exit menu

(Off the top of my head...)

Must admit I quite liked it - set on LOW it was fine for me

Mine doesn't seem to adjust with my speed?

Will look in the manual later, it was great in my sisters C2.
