What have size you got on at the moment?

At the moment i've got 15" on. but am thinking about getting bigger ones, 17s or 18s possibly? but not sure if that would be too big and start making performance worse?

Same here. There are loads of people on here with 17's, lowered with all kinds of setups. 18's might require some effort though

yeh that was gonna be my second question about how low the car could be lowered with 17s? or is that not really a problem?

Have a search through the threads in this section mate. It ranges from 30mm on springs to whatever height you want on coilovers!

erm lowering isnt really a problem im on FK coilovers and hav had it very very low and only caught a little bit so ul be fine

i wouldn't go 18" in an ibiza personally...mainly because the brakes will look tiny and it effects ride comfort and acceleration....and I'm assuming you haven't got a cupra?

Yeah, just i'd heard some people saying that they went from 17s to 16s and said is much better ride. so wondering what everyone else thought!

I used to have a Cupra shared with my dad, but unfortunatly i wrote it off and now am down to a 1.4 mk3 ibiza! But want to atleast try and make it look decent even if it wont go like the dogs bollocks like the last one!

well my ride with 17's can be pretty bumpy depending on the road surface but I've never had 16's on it to compare...

Id say for performance 16's, looks 17's although the difference will be marginal.

Most 16's have a 45 tyre and 17's 40 so you feel the ride more with 17's.

Ive got 16's and intend to stay with them

its totally down to personal preference really... as said u maybe will feel a few more bumps on 17's but very little difference. especially if you both runnin coilovers will always be a bit bumpy... il be sticking with 17's unless i buy 2 16's for the front for wen im on the 1/4 mile

Im planning on running 17's with -40mm eibach springs been told it should e no prob what so ever

no they wont be mate!! iv got some springs and shockers for sale off mine! think the springs were 40-50ml drop if ur interested??

Mike's got 17's on his and it runs fine.

I'm back on the std cupra rims, and I run fine..
