well i've had the altea for about a month and i had it in for a replacement stereo to be fitted just before christmas

i've gone for a double din alpine unit with a few extras such as ipod connection, nav, etc

here's the car, bog standard, only gonna go for a remap and maybe a black debadged grille looks wise

fireman sam on the dvd (for the little un, honset!!)

also teamed up with an alpine dvd nav unit

also had a rear screen fitted to it, a fully motorised alpine screen (can't beat them!!)

i can have the dvd playing in the back through the headphones while the cd changer or ipod plays through the speakers

best of all is this little toy!!

its actually a reversing camera that works through the headunit, once i engage reverse the screen switches over to show whats behind the car, it was actually cheaper than reversing sensors!!

i also had an alpine bluetooth to be fitted which would have let me dial out from the screen etc but the unit i wanted (bt 350) wasn't compatible with the headunit (as its an older unit) and the only one that would work is discontinued and not very good anyway (bt200) so i'm having the parrot 3100 i took out put back in next week

hope you like it

it wasn't actually that much, i got the h/u and rear screen off fleabay for less than £300 and i already had the sat nav and changer from my old car, i sold the h/u out of that for £150 as well as the standard renault tunepoint unit for £75 so i got a bit back that way!

just need to get the parrot put back in, hopefully on monday, and get hold of a set of alpine wireless headphones and i'm sorted
