Hi guys, this is my first post.

I have a Seat Altea 2012 1.4T and I'm from Monterrey Mexico.

Here I'm facing the same issue, there's no place to buy the blades, just at the SEAT dealer and are very expensive $1,200 MXN the pair of front blades, that are about $90USD.

Does anybody knows the type of connector that the blade has? Because I bought some michelin blades but all the adaptors that came with the blades are not fitting the Altea.

Thank you

The guy on the first page was fitting refills and gave the web page so might be useful to email them. In Europe they now sell them in the Auchan supermarket chain (Bosch model) so in fact I've got too many now for the expected time I'll keep the car.

Just bought a full set front and rears from seat dealer in stirling for£57.12 and as far as I can tell they have been on since new, 2009. Seems a lot but time will tell. I tried to get rubber mats for the front but had to settle for carpets as seat don't do rubber mats too posh maybe, shame as much easier to clean mud off.

The bad thing in Mexico is that the Altea si not a gib seller car, so almost all the replacements has to be buyed on the Seat Dealer..
Even the Bosch dealer don't have the blades.

Hector, the problem is the fitting is unique to the Altea. Indeed the Bosch replacement blades A958S are model-specific to the Altea.

I would suggest you try replacing the rubbers within the existing Aeroblades. Here's a video:

Man, this is a very good idea... I think I'll do this.

Also I need to review how to get them from Europe, just in case it's required.

I think I have to wait for someone comming from Spain or England.

Thank you.

57 pounds it's like $1,100 MXN, all the full set here in Mexico it's at $1,600 MXN, about 80 pounds. Part of the Diesel that the ship needs to traveling here.

That's rough, I thought things were cheaper in Mexico. You drive an altea?

It's a long history but yes, on the weekends I drive an Altea :D

I had a Seat Ibiza FR 1.8 T 2005 when I was single, and my girl friend had a Peugeot 206 2005.

Then, when we got married and my first baby girl came, I sold the 2 door Ibiza FR and I bought the Altea.
It's the car that my wife drives and I drove the 206.
Three weeks ago I changed the 206 for a Dodge Caliber 2008, that it's the car that I drive now.

The prices are not sheap here, just the basic things like food, some services and that's it.
All the "luxury" things are expensive. I usually buy all my things (clothes, electronics, baby stuff) on the USA because is sheapper there. The bad thing is that SEAT is not selled there, so my only options is Europe.
