got down at the travelodge last night about 11:00, found it easy enough, only got lost once for a few mins, got up nice and early and got myself down to jabbasport.
Soon as i got their Mike took my keys and off he went into a room at the back with the car and didnt hear anything until about 1:00, saw him pop up into the office so asked him how it was going, just said "yes, going well"

about 2:00 i started hearing my car on the rollers, time and time again for about an hour or so, then it all went quiet for a bit, then the rollers started back up and off it went again for about another hour, about 4:40 he rolled my car out of the back and parked it up.

when he came up he said to me that the maf that was supplied was the wrong one, so he swapped the sensor out of my old one and put it in the new housing, so thats why i was having problems with the other maf .....

asked him what map he put one, whether it was aggressive or soft, he just said "one that works well", speaking to him for abit and he was happy with how it went

figures from my k03 were 201bhp@awesome, figures are now 260bhp & 373nm, so very happy with that increase, asked mike about this and he just said "holds alot better like this", so off i went and paid, got into my car and took it down the road, and all i can say is this is a whole different car to any k03x based car i have ever driven or been in, feels absolutly rapid, boost goes to 23/4 psi then drops to 21, holding to 6k and tails to 18@7k

i am proper chuffed with it, absolutly flies, not tried it with nos yet, waiting for my clutch for that, suprised a evo on the m1 though ;), god only knows how fast ihi must be, and a few others, lol

anyway, iv taken a quick pic of the graph, until i get chance to scan it in tomorrow (dont know if you can see much)

proper happy with how the car goes, suprised the hell out of me driving home, top service at jabbasport too, map feels fantastic, all the guys their were helpful and all their entertainment goodies kept me amused throughout the day :D

Awesome, you must be well chuffed! What clutch are you getting for it - G60? What injectors did you end up using the 440's? How much did the AM04 turbo cost you with all the bits n pieces?

I can't see much on the photo! Solid result though holds boost well.

Do you get alot of wheel spin or is it o.k because it boosts later?

Dave,

Now that you are running a "bigger power" set up will you need to service the car etc more than before?

Or will it still be as user friendly as an evry day car?

essex_cupra :- driving home last night and traction was a bit of a issue, was spinning up very easily in 1st 2nd and even 3rd, but it was p1ssing down at the time, nice and dry this morning, span up in 2nd, 3rd was good, tiny spin then pinned me back and took off, so i think i only have issues with 3rd in the wet, all is good in the dry, was expecting it in 2nd as my k03 done this, sorry about the photo, going to scan in the graph in a bit properly

Dan:- not really thought about that mate, i normally like to change my filter/oil every 5k and full service every 10k

Sounds like your happy with the results, but to be honest i was expecting more.

Nice looking graph tho. :D

yeah was expecting about 10bhp more, mike said it could have produced that but would have tailed off alot quicker, he was saying its better like this so peak power is down slightly but it holds it for alot longer, he said like this it would be faster on "real road driving" than if id have cranked it up more

defo happy with it mate, goes like stink :D

from outside, i dont know, from inside, sounds like my filter is going to suck me in through the dash, proper loud inside the car, dv is loud too, nice throaty noise on spoolup from the turbo, exhaust noise has not changed,

do you have a diff yet? (bolt kit for diff?)
advised as you dont want to see any rivets pop out of the gearcase.

sounds like it went well.
260bhp aint to be sniffed at.

Whats the spool like rpm wise... what boost by what rpm?

no i dont have a diff, on my list though, looking at getting it done at same time as clutch, got to save first though as it cost quite alot of pennies

i was at 3k yesterday and had a quick look at my gauge, was sitting at 23psi by this stage so spool doesnt seem to be a issue, will have a proper look at dinner and give you exact figures afterwards, seems to pull like a train too once spooled all through the rev range, seems a much larger powerband

going on the hunt for a scanner now to see if i can get a proper graph up
