You look though at it in another way thou...

all the cars in the high end are cars in excess of 20k and well Seat Leon isnt far of that figure, then you look at the Lowest, Novas, corsas and fiestas....

Its basically proof that a people in novas, corsas and fiestas DONT claim due to the rust buckets are so cheap or banged up anyway, why wreck your no claims bonus to repair it, just empty ur right pcoket change on the table and there you go enough to repair it... the other hand the car in the highest end, those types of cars are just plain expensive to repair, you would never dream of paying a crash yourself, thats what the insurance is for and why its protected....

The report is alot of crap and basically points out that the poeple that own rust buckets dont claim to save them a fortune next year, not that they dont have accidents.

If i had a penny for everytime i saw a corsa, nova, fiesta banged up on the road and never claimed, I'd be a millioniare!! lol

Dunno why the Leon is high, especially as they show the new Leon and not the more populated model of the Mk1

Also, wtf Nova safest, give me a break, mostly the choice of Max Powa chav scum, they rarely claim cause they probably havn't got insurance. :cartman:

In fact looking at the top 10 less claimed on cars, they are nearly all cars that are older than 5 years, some even much older, these cars are probably not worth claiming on. And most are written off.

EDIT:

Spot on Slick :funk:

Absolutely a pointless report, designed to give the insurers an excuse to artificially up the premiums

It is amusing to see that cars least likely to be involved in crashes include lots that are no longer produced, handily lowering the chances of anyone crashing into one. Most will have rusted away by now (Novas being a prime candidate)

The 205 was last produced in 1994! Someone need to check their facts again!

and its not including all those drivers that bin their cars with no insurance. Like 17 year old scooby drivers!
